The province of Siena is rich in thermal springs which are often overlooked, as the area is most famous for its architecture, art, history, food and wine. The town of Bagno Vignoni is located in the Orcia Valley, with a panorama of rocks and castles surrounding it. It is said that St. Catherine and Lorenzo dei Medici were healed by these waters. On the edge of the town, there is a stone culvert where the hot water runs. You take off your shoes and put your feet in. After a long hike it is great. The water is very hot and full of minerals.
